What information should I include in an RFQ?
Include the product, material grade, dimensions (thickness × width × length, or pipe size and schedule, or valve size and pressure class), quantity, required standard, delivery location and target date. Complete details allow a faster and more accurate quotation.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimums depend on the product. Sheet metal from stock can be supplied in smaller lots, while mill orders generally start from one container or a few metric tonnes. Share your requirement and we will advise the most economical option.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
We quote EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP. If you are unsure, select 'Not sure' and we will recommend the best option for your location.
How long is a quotation valid?
Because metal prices move with the market, quotations are typically valid for 3 to 7 days unless stated otherwise.
